Mad for kitchens in March!
March 24, 2011
For the month of March we are focusing on the hub of the home, the kitchen. A kitchen remodel can seem daunting. It is the most common and the most expensive project that a homeowner can undertake, so it is understandable that it can be overwhelming and paralyze even the bravest of heart. So many decisions to be made which will create the heart of your home, now if that isn’t pressure!
With so much at stake, it just doesn’t make sense to move forward without a professional. We take the hassle and the worry out of all those decisions and get the process rolling smoothly. Our goal is to entice you all month long with fabulous kitchen finds to get you from “I wish I could” into “I am glad I did it!

Interest in affordable, eco-friendly home details is increasing, especially amongst younger home buyers. Go green with concrete counter tops–we’re fans of Soupcan in Chicago; tankless water heaters and recycling bins built into kitchen cabinets. Energy-efficiency is another related feature buyers are looking for, according to the AIA report. Alternative home insulation techniques & extra insulation in the attic are among most-wanted features. Aesthetically, we’ll be soothed by the serene colors of sand, the sea, the sky, and trees. Always present are natural materials like stone, wood, glass and metal.
