Angela LaVista
From a very young age Angela LaVista knew she would be an interior designer. As a small child she spent time moving furniture and rearranging the china cabinet. Encouraged by her mother, Angela was given free reign to paint and decorate the family home which was the beginning of a creative and free talent. Through her studies to earn her degree in Interior Architecture from Northern Illinois University, Angela became interested in green design and the impact design can have on people’s everyday lives and the world.
After obtaining a strong background in furniture with working with Walter E Smithe and as a showroom designer at the Merchandise Mart, Angela opened her own firm. Believing that well designed interiors are not only for a select group of people, Angela has always tried to educate people on good design principles and how a well designed home truly makes a difference in the owner’s quality of life. LaVista Design Group established its name as a lifestyle design company specializing in decorating and remodeling.
With a move from Chicago to Libertyville Angela crossed paths with Michelle Pelech and a new idea was born. Perfectly matched in almost every way, they knew that a partnership was being born. Chelle Design Group and LaVista Design Group came under the one umbrella of Chelle Design.
After almost a year of handling Chelle and Lavista clients, the team at Chelle is better than ever.
Michelle Pelech
Michelle Pelech founded Chelle Design in 1993 with a vision to trail blaze the application of green design principles and approachable interior design in the North Shore communities. It's with this purpose and the momentum of an idea whose time had come that Michelle grew the firm into a leading resource for design solutions that are intelligent, insightful and inspired, and today have been welcomed home by more than 500 happy clients. With her life changing move to the West Coast, Michelle now acts as a business advisor to the Chelle team and consults on particular projects.
Ashley Goudreau
Ashley Goudreau is all things accounting to CDG. Educated at Saint Mary’s College, Ashley brings her professional expertise to all of her client and vendor interactions. When Ash is not crunching numbers and keeping the books, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading and traveling.
